607 AOC, ROKAF Air Mobility Airmen host first Pacific Tanker Symposium Published Nov. 25, 2019 By Seventh Air Force Public Affairs OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Members of the 607 Air Operations Center, Air Mobility Division, hosted a Pacific Tanker Symposium with the Republic of Korea, Air Force Operations Command, Air Mobility Branch, at Osan Air Base, ROK, Nov. 18, 2019. Four nations participated including the United States, The Republic of Korea, Australia and the United Kingdom. The objective of the symposium was to build and enhance interoperability in the Pacific region between tanker communities from allied nations. Topics of the symposium included training, communication, and safety of flight procedures. These topics fostered discussions between the pilots and boom operators from each nation, who were able to discuss the similarities and differences in their respective capabilities.
