Wolf Pack supports Assam Draggins pit stop

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Airmen assigned to the 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron petroleum, oil and lubricants flight and 8th Maintenance Squadron transient alert flight, attended to a visiting A-10 Thunderbolt II during a training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 14, 2022. As a part of the training scenario, the aircraft were diverted to Kunsan where they were provided 3,900 gallons of JP8 fuel and simulated a reload of Joint Direct Attack Munitions before resuming flight operations. 

Both the 8th and 51st Fighter Wings conduct routine training events to refine mission readiness, ensuring forces’ ability to provide air power at a moments notice.
