Chief Master Sergeant Alvin R. Dyer is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, Seventh Air Force, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. He serves as the principle senior enlisted advisor to the commander on morale, welfare, training, mission readiness and effective utilization of more than 9,500 combat-ready personnel assigned to two wings, one air operations center, five collocated operating bases and 19 geographically-separated operating locations. As the senior enlisted Airman for the Air Component Command of United Nations Command and Combined Forces Command, he regularly interfaces with Republic of Korea and United States service component senior enlisted leaders to ensure the combat readiness of the alliance.
Chief Dyer graduated from the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning course, Sheppard AFB, Texas. His background includes various duties within the civil engineer arena. Throughout his career, he has filled a myriad of roles including First Term Airman Center, NCOIC and additional First Sergeant. His assignments include bases in Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia, and Florida.
Chief Dyer has also served overseas in Germany, Japan, South Korea, Alaska, and deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE.
