The Wolf Pack welcomed Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass, to Kunsan AB, Republic of Korea, June 27, to learn what the Wing brings to the Indo-Pacific fight and listen to the unit’s needs to continue excelling in the fight.

Bass met with Airmen, Wing leaders, and recognized service members for their outstanding achievements. Additionally, she addressed the Wolf Pack during an all-call about theater and quality of life related topics.

“We’re about to see more change in the next coming years than I’ve seen in my entire career,” said Bass.

With more Airmen employing the multi-capable concept, Bass said she expects the Air Force to take care of personnel and give them the tools to excel and succeed.

“Multi-capable does not mean doing more with less,” Bass said. “It’s doing whatever you need to get the mission done. As leaders, I expect us to hold ourselves accountable.”

Also, Bass encouraged Airmen of today to be the key to overcoming future challenges.

“Chief Bass’s address really put today’s operations and environment into perspective even at the Airmen level,” said Senior Airman Zachary Hehman, 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron ground transportation specialist. “It motivated me to ensure things get done correctly and to use my voice as a leader for the betterment of my team.”

Bass encouraged personnel to ‘play the long game’ and get innovative using the strengths they have to further incorporate Agile Combat Employment operations.

“It ultimately doesn’t matter how long you serve as long as you’re bettering your unit while serving,” said Bass. “Every single one of you matter. Thank you for what you do in serving our nation.”
