Osan will once again get a chance to give back to the Air Force family when the 2007 Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign begins March 23.

The AFAF campaign is an annual, on-the-job fund raising appeal conducted among Air Force personnel for the benefit of Air Force personnel. AFAF contributions provide financial support to four affiliates: the Air Force Aid Society, the Air Force Villages Indigent Widow's Fund, the Air Force Enlisted Village Indigent Widow's Fund, and the General and Mrs. Curtis E. Lemay Foundation.

Now in its 34th year, 100 percent of designated AFAF contributions will benefit active duty, Reserve, Guard, retired Air Force personnel and surviving spouses and families. This year's AFAF goal is $5.3 million. People can contribute by cash, check or money order, or use a payroll deduction. For information concerning rules on payroll deduction, contact a key worker.

Last year Osan contributed $149,493 representing 165 percent of the 2006 goal. This year Osan has a goal of $96,022
Contributions to the AFAF are tax deductible. For more information, contact a your unit project officer or key worker or visit www.afassistancefund.org.
