8 MDG partners with local Korean hospital, tests emergency medical response Published May 13, 2019 By Senior Airman Stefan Alvarez 8th Fighter Wing Public Affairs KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Medical Group coordinated with Wonkwang University Medical Center to exercise emergency medical flight transport procedures and transfer a simulated patient from Kunsan Air Base to the hospital in Iksan. The surgical team at Wonkwang successfully performed a life saving operation on the simulated patient paving the way for a continued relationship between the medical center and Kunsan.
