71st Hill 180 Engagement Ceremony

The U.S. Army 3rd Battlefield Coordination Detachment – Korea hosted a 71st Anniversary of the Battle of Hill 180 event February 4 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. 

The Battle of Hill 180 took place Feb. 7, 1951 and is commemorated annually by both Republic of Korea and American dignitaries, service members, veterans and family members. 

U.S. Army Col. (Retired) Lewis Millet, Company E, 27th Infantry Regiment, led the bayonet charge up the hill.

Among the other guests were ROK. Army Col. Sung Jin Park, 3rd Battlefield Coordination Detachment-Korea commander, Earnest Lee, Korean War veteran and Hill 180 remembrance ceremony distinguished guest and U.S. Army Col. Jeffrey Munn, 3rd Battlefield Coordination Detachment-Korea commander,
