USFK attends 7th West Sea Defense Day Ceremony Published March 25, 2022 7th Air Force Public Affairs DAEJEON, Republic of Korea -- Lt. Gen. Scott Pleus, United States Forces Korea deputy commander and Seventh Air Force commander, attended the 7th West Sea Defense Day Ceremony memorial service at the Daejeon National Cemetery March 25. He was joined by several other generals from the Republic of Korea. ROK Prime Minister Bugyeom Kim lead everyone in attendance in a moment of silence. The ceremony paid tribute to those who have lost their lives while protecting the Korean territory of the West Sea within the last several decades which included 55 U.S. servicemembers.
