Black Eagles soar over Kunsan

The Republic of Korea 53rd Air Demonstration Group better known as the Black Eagles, performs aerial maneuvers at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 13, 2022. Black Eagles pilots operate their T-50s while experiencing up-to 5-Gs during demonstrations, but can be subject to as high as 9-Gs during a technique called the “maximum maneuver.” The Black Eagles are based out of Wonju, Gangwon Province, R.O.K., but perform across various locations during national ceremonies.
