Nicholas Ross 8th Fighter Wing Public Affairs KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Republic of Korea Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Lee, Young Su, visited Kunsan Air Base during Korea Flying Training 2024 on April 23, 2024. During his visit, Gen. Lee met with leadership from the 8th Fighter Wing and 38th Fighter Group to receive an update on how KFT 24 is increasing the combat readiness of the ROK-U.S. Alliance. During his visit, Gen. Lee also engaged with Airmen from various backgrounds about their contributions to the exercise and provided words of wisdom from his career. This was Gen. Lee’s first visit to Kunsan AB since assuming command as the 41st ROKAF Chief of Staff.
