AIRMAN SPOTLIGHT: Senior Airman Jessica Sailor Published May 8, 2011 694 Intelligence Support Squadron (694 ISR Group) OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Job title: Communications Focal Point Technician Job description and its impact on the overall mission: My job is to ensure all the 694th Intelligence Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group's mission systems are working properly. When problems arise, I coordinate, oversee and report on their repair. Time in the military: 5 years 4 months Time at Korea: 4 months Family: I have a husband named Patrick Sailor and a 21-month-old baby boy named Donovan Sailor. Hobbies: Puzzles (especially Jigsaw and Sudoku), reading, playing WOW, hiking Why did you join the military? As a girl, I always watched war movies and I would always go to Air Shows with my older sister and her husband. It was a lifelong dream of mine. I wanted to feel like I could make a difference. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? Somewhere between 10 and 20 years I see myself as a commissioned officer in the Air Force. I will also be a nurse practitioner working towards a doctorate in neurology. What do you do for fun here? I go to the Hospitality House, work on my 6,000-piece jigsaw puzzle, read at the library, and explore new areas around base. What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? My favorite AF memory would have to be tech school. I am originally from Picayune, MS, which is 45 minutes from Kessler AFB. My family would come pick my friends and me up from base and take us home. What accomplishment are you most proud of? Becoming a Mom. Who are your role models? My role models are anyone I can learn from, whether they are enlisted or officer, just joined or nearing retirement.
