Wayne Kahalekomo Published July 7, 2010 OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Unit: 607th Logistics Readiness Group (LRG) Job title: NCOIC, Munitions Operations Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) Job description and its impact on the overall mission: As a Munitions Operations QAE, Staff Sgt. Kahalekomo manages $9K short tons of munitions War Reserve Material and War Reserve Stock for Allies. He implements advisor and evaluator duties over munitions programs for 28 Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) technicians. Staff Sgt. Kahalekomo develops Quality Assurance procedures for munitions inspections and maintenance effectiveness. Additionally, he controls the munitions shipment process and ensures documentation, accountability and timeliness of stock control redistribution. I wanted to serve my country. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? I want to be a Chief Master Sgt. What do you do for fun here? Work out, hang out with friends What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? I have learned how to be a professional by learning from my mentors and this has helped me to grow as an Airman.
