ITT: Bringing servicemembers adventure Published Aug. 15, 2007 By Senior Airman Eunique Stevens 51st Fighter Wing Public Affairs OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Ah, traveling in a foreign country: you can't read the signs, don't speak the language and what is that on the menu? Servicemembers here can skip the frustration and keep the adventure through Osan's Information, Tickets and Tours office. The ITT office on Osan offers different trips and tours throughout the year. The trips are meant to offer U.S. Forces Korea servicemembers the opportunity to travel around the peninsula and learn more of the Korean culture. "I really enjoy attending the trips that ITT offers," said Senior Airman Brandon Bennett, 51st Communications Squadron. "I don't think I would have been able to get out and see very much if they didn't offer things like this. "I'll be leaving Korea soon, and I'm happy because I really feel like I've gotten a good grasp of the Korean experience," he said. The September tour schedule was released Aug. 6. It lists all tour dates, times and prices for the entire month. Some of the listings include a trip to Che-Ju Island, horse-back riding, hiking, Everland and Lotte World amusement parks, trips to different shopping areas, and the Seoul Aquarium. There are also trips planned for the upcoming performances Jump and Jazz in Seoul. ITT schedules most tours during the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, for the convenience of servicemembers, but the tour schedule is subject to change in some instances. To sign up for a tour or for more information, stop by Bldg. 924 or call the ITT office Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or Saturday - Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
