CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT HARRY B. VIEL, JR.
Chief Master Sergeant Harry B. Viel, Jr., is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, Seventh Air Force, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. As the command chief, he serves as the principle senior enlisted advisor to the commander on the morale, welfare, training, mission readiness and effective utilization of the commands more than 9,000 combat-ready enlisted personnel assigned to two wings, five collocated operating bases and 19 geographically-separated operating locations. (Pronounced Woo, Chang Hee.) during a naming ceremony witnessed by the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Rodney J. McKinley and approximately 200 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines and ROK civic leaders. The naming ceremony was part of a larger recognition ceremony where 45 Korean leaders presented 50 Airmen certificates embossed with the gold letters "ROK-US."
