Pit Floor

Military members at the Hardened Tactical Air Component Command operations floor at Osan AB, Korea, keep a watchful eye on simulated friendly and enemy air and ground forces during Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 09. Through a series of computer networks and giant data walls, a joint team of Americans and Republic of Korea Air Force counterparts exercise their warfighting capabilities. The annual air and space portion of Key Resolve/Foal Eagle demonstrates U.S. resolve to support the Republic of Korea against external aggression while improving ROK-U.S. combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability.
