Capt Pitney (Key Resolve)

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- (Left to right) Col. John Harris, chief of the 607th Combat Operations Division, briefs Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Remington, the 7th Air Force commander, and Gen. Walter Sharp, the U.S. Forces Korea commander, on exercise operations in the Hardened Tactical Air Control Center here. General Sharp visited Osan to review Air Component Command’s role in the Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 09 exercise. KR/FE, like all Combined Forces Command (CFC) exercises, is a routine training exercise, defense-oriented and designed to enhance readiness and the ability of the Republic of Korea-U.S. Alliance to defend the ROK against external aggression. It is not tied in any way to any political or real-world event. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Benjamin Rojek)
