Key Resolve 2008

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- ROKAF Col. Park Jong Sam, chief of ROKAF combat operations oversees operations on the “pit floor” here in support of Exercise Key Resolve March 2 through 5. Key Resolve is an "operational-level," Republic of Korea-U.S. training exercise held peninsula-wide to ensure “operational” readiness of air, space and cyberspace operations in the Korean theater of operations. This annual exercise is held in conjunction with Foal Eagle 2008. Both exercises demonstrate U.S. resolve to support the Republic of Korea against external aggression while improving ROK/U.S. combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability. The “pit floor” is populated with people across a spectrum of specialties and service components where operational-level decisions take place. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Lakisha Croley)
