OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea - U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Stephen G. Wood , Air Forces Korea, Air Component Commander leads air operations for this year’s Key Resolve peninsula-wide exercise that kicked off this week. Focus of the Key Resolve exercise is on the “operational” aspect of air, space and cyberspace operations in the Korean theater of operations. This annual exercise is held in conjunction with Foal Eagle 2008 that kicks off in a few weeks. The purpose of both exercises is to demonstrate resolve to support the Republic of Korea against external aggression while improving ROK/U.S. combat readiness and joint / combined interoperability.
