POW/MIA Recognition Day

Lt. Col. Barney Dobbs, (shown here in 1950 while assigned to the 3rd Bomb Group, 8th Bomb Squadron, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea) was a B-26 pilot assigned to fly single-ship night missions during the Korean War. His aircraft was shot down on his 26th mission and he was captured, spending 19 months in captivity before being released Sept. 15, 1953. (Courtesy photo)
