NDI personnel ensure aircraft safety, enhance readiness

Airman 1st Class Hunter Trowbridge, 51st Maintenance Squadron Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) apprentice, examines an aircraft part for cracks and other discontinuities at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 17, 2022. Visual inspections of materials for damages such as cracks, corrosion and misalignment are often the first signs of inconsistencies on a part. Since safety is the most crucial aspect of aviation, catching these inconsistencies through NDI procedures is vital. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Allison Payne)
