Maj. Gen. Antonio Aguto, Jr. relinquishes command of the 3rd Infantry Division to Maj. Gen. Charles D. Costanza on Cottrell Field, Fort Stewart Georgia, June 21, 2021. Lt. Gen. Michael Kurilla, commanding general of the XVIII Airborne Corps, presided over the ceremony. Aguto led the Division through Hurricane Dorian impacts, the global COVID-19 pandemic and multiple subordinate units' deployments to U.S. Central Command areas of responsibility, Europe, and South Korea.
